Things you might be wondering

Finance comes with questions. Here are a few answers to help make things clearer.

A mortgage broker can help you compare options across a range of lenders rather than being limited to one bank. I’ll help you understand your options, explain the process and guide you from our first conversation through to settlement.

In most cases, no. I’m paid a commission by the lender when your loan settles. If there’s ever a fee that applies to your situation, I’ll let you know upfront — no surprises.

Definitely not. You can come to me with a plan, a rough idea or even just a “I have no idea if this is possible.” We can start there and work it out together.

Absolutely. We can look at your income, expenses, existing commitments and overall circumstances to get an idea of your borrowing position. How much you can borrow can vary between lenders, so we’ll look at what makes sense for your situation — not just the biggest number.

It depends on your situation, but things like ID, payslips, bank statements and information about your expenses and existing debts are pretty common. You don’t need to have everything organised before you contact me — I’ll tell you exactly what I need.

Earlier than you might think! You don’t need to be ready to apply for a loan. If buying, refinancing or investing is somewhere on your radar, we can have a conversation about where you stand and what you might need to do to get there
